The tempting delights of Lake City on Parade will be varied but will include the Young Chef’s Academy of Florence, a culinary arts school for children aged 7 – 14. On Nov. 30, the children will bring an Apple berry Salsa they prepared as part of their presentation. There will also be many Gourmet appetizers, Kabobs, BBQ, wings, deserts and lots of specialty foods prepared by Food Scapes, Bo Whitlock Catering, Pops BBQ, Tony’s Wingsit’, The Railway Restaurant, Connie’s Cakes, Sonic and Piggly Wiggly.
Tables will be festively decorated by area businesses with an award for best table and best food presentation.
Awards that night include the Business of the Year, Citizen, Humanitarian and Contributor of the Year.
Ticket prices are $25 in advance, $30 at the door and include food and libations and the sounds of the season.
Tickets may be purchased in Lake City at the Chamber, The Museum, Somethin’ Special and Piggly Wiggly, Palmetto Gifts in Scranton and in Florence at the Young Chef’s Academy.
