Jeffery Kent Dennis of Marion, 42, died Nov. 9, 2007.

A funeral was at 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12 in the Gilead Free Will Baptist Church. Burial followed in Pine Dale Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery in Turbeville.

He is preceded in death by his father, Gene Dennis; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Kelly McCutcheon; his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Dennis; and his grandfather, Clarence “Bud” Stewart.

Born in Florence County, Mr. Dennis was a son of Betty Stewart McCutcheon and the late Gene Dennis.

Surviving are his mother and step-father Mr. and Mrs. Marion “Moe” McCutcheon of Scranton; a daughter, Donna Marie Dennis of Florence; a son, Nelson Kent Dennis of Florence; and two brothers, Drew B. (Kristi) McCutcheon and Bruce K. (Kelly) McCutcheon both of Scranton.
