Attorney General Henry McMaster has scheduled a press conference today with his Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.  According to a press release, McMaster will make the most significant announcement to date in the state's battle against Internet Child Predators.

The announcement will be held at the Attorney General's Office at 10am.

McMaster will provide the media with an overview of the work the Task Force has done since undercover Internet sting operations began in April of 2004.

Since 2005, a team of thirty-seven law enforcement agencies was created to pursue Internet Child Predators in South Carolina, according to the Attorney General's office. The Task Force has announced ninety-seven (97) arrests since the Internet Child Predator law was passed in 2004.
