Hazel Brown Bryant of Lake City, 74, died on Wednesday Oct. 31.

A funeral was at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 5 from Historical Greater St. James AME Church, Lake Cit. Rev. Dr. Frank Maddox officiated. Burial followed in Rest Lawn Cemetery.

She was predeceased by husband, Eddie Bryant, Jr. and a son, Jerry O. Bryant.

Born in Lake City, Mrs. Bryant was a daughter of the late Richard and Claudia Barr Brown. She attended the public schools of Lake City. She was a member of Greater St. James AME Church where she served as choir member, stewardess, pulpit aid, floral club and a busy bee member.

Surviving are two daughters, Selida Bryant (Tyrone) of Syracuse, NY and Hazel (Harry) Epps of Lake City; three sons, Heyward Bryant and Richard Bryant of Syracuse, Danny (Hazel) Bryant of Lake City; a sister, Reba Abner of Pahokee, Fla.; a brother, Richard Brown, Jr. of Winston-Salem, N.C.; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, an aunt, Dorothy Hanna of Columbia; nieces and nephews other in laws.
