During the week of Dec. 10-14, Mrs. Rowland’s and Mrs. Owens’s class from Nichols Headstart, sponsored a coat drive for families in need during this season. Many of the children, parents, and staff contributed to the occasion by donating a used or new coat of any size. The coat drive was a huge success. On Dec. 14, two representatives from Marion County Department of Social Service came to talk with the children and to pick up the coats.
