Former president to campaign in South Carolina

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Former president Bill Clinton will campaign for his wife in Charleston tomorrow.
     
The visit comes a day before Barack Obama campaigns in Columbia with Oprah Winfrey.
      
Hillary Clinton's campaign confirmed today her husband will be in Charleston tomorrow. The details of the visit were not immediately available.
     
Bill Clinton has made several trips to South Carolina this campaign season. He's already scheduled to be in Columbia on December 17th for an event honoring former Governor Dick Riley.
 
 An Associated Press poll shows Clinton with a strong lead in South Carolina. Clinton and Obama are vying for the black vote in South Carolina, which could be half of the vote in the primary next month.
     
The AP-Pew Research poll shows them breaking even on the black vote.
