Cheeseburger Hoagie - This recipe will make 5 or 6 hoagies
Ingredients needed:
- 2lbs. Ground Hamburger Meat
- 3 cups Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 7" Hoagie Rolls
- Salt and Pepper
- Shredded Lettuce
- Diced Tomatoes
- Mayonnaise
In a large skillet, crumble 2lbs. of raw hamburger meat and brown on medium heat stirring constantly. Add salt and pepper to taste while your hamburger is browning. Drain any excess drippings off, then mix in 3 cups of shredded cheddar cheese to the cooked meat. Be sure to stir the cheese and meat until the cheese is melted and mixed thoroughly. If you would like extra cheese, you may sprinkle a little on top of the mixture and cover with a lid for about 5 minutes. Lightly toast your hoagie roll in the oven. Once this is completed you are ready to make your sandwich. Spread some mayonnaise on your toasted roll then put a generous portion of the cheeseburger mixture on the hoagie. Top off your sandwich with shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. Your total cooking time for this recipe is about 15 minutes.
