Steenerson-Young
Mrs. Tina Steenerson of Mauldin, SC, and Mr. Edward Steenerson of Asheville, NC, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Irene Steenerson, to David Lowell Young, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert G. Young of Florence, SC.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Converse College and a 2006 graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana, with a Masters in Music. She is a successful opera singer performing throughout the U.S. She is presently a full-time adjunct professor of music at the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC, where she is encouraged to continue her singing career along with her university responsibilities.
The groom-elect is a 1998 graduate of South Florence High School, a 2002 graduate in music from the University of South Carolina, and has enjoyed an extensive career in the world of opera performing throughout the U.S. and Europe. He is presently a student at the MUSC College of Medicine in Charleston planning a career in Otolaryngology.
A spring wedding is planned in Pensacola, Florida.
