Mr. & Mrs. Andrew Lawrence LeGette of Effingham announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Marie Ashley to Mark Eugene Wallace, son of Mr. & Mrs. Gene Wallace of Florence.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Jeanette Gilley of Effingham, the late Mr. Harrison Painter, Mrs. Melvadean Rich of Marion, and the late Mr. Edward Rich. Miss LeGette is a graduate of Lander University and Midlands Technical College with degrees in Chemistry and Electronic Engineering Technology, respectively. She is employed by GE Healthcare of Florence.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Irene Soots of Lenoir, NC, the late Mr. Harrison Soots, and the late Mr. & Mrs. William Wallace. Mr. Wallace is a graduate of Francis Marion University with a degree in Physics and Mathematics. He is employed by GE Healthcare of Florence.
The wedding will be March 3, 2012 at Reedy Creek Baptist Church in Marion, SC.
