NEW YORK CITY, NY - CBS- A new surgical option may soon be available for patients suffering from severe acid reflux.
an implanted device that's being used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease.
The ring of magnetic beads fits around the valve at the top of the stomach.
It stops acid from coming back into the esophagus and causing heartburn. the device is still in clinical trials.
