CONWAY - The Coastal Carolina University Concert Choir, Chamber Choir and Jazz Band present the fourth annual “Isn’t It Romantic?” concert on Wednesday, Feb. 22, at 7:30 p.m. in the Wheelwright Auditorium.

The show, directed by CCU music faculty members Frances T. (Terri) Sinclair and Dan O’Reilly, is a concert of jazz and romantic favorites. Selections for this year’s program include “All the Things You Are” by Oscar Hammerstein II and Jerome Kern, as well as Duke Ellington’s classic “It Don’t Mean a Thing (If It Ain’t Got That Swing).” The two choirs, jazz band and numerous soloists will each perform separately as well as in combination with each other for a show that presents a great variety of musical entertainment.

Sinclair is an associate professor of music and director of choral activities at CCU. She previously served as director of choral activities for the University of North Carolina in Charlotte and UNC in Asheville, and has served on the music faculty at UNC in Chapel Hill, Clemson University, North Carolina State University, and Sandhills Community College.

O’Reilly, lecturer, is a saxophone player with an extensive performing background, including work with the Four Tops, the Temptations and Lou Rawls. He has also opened for nationally recognized artists B.B. King and the Doobie Brothers. Currently, he performs with his jazz quartet U-N-I and his blues band The King Biscuits.

General admission tickets are $9; CCU and HGTC students, faculty and staff are $3; alumni, senior citizens (ages 65 and over) and Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) members are $7; teens (ages 11 to 17) are $3; and children (ages 10 and under) are free with ticket.

For tickets and additional information, contact the Wheelwright Box Office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 843-349-2502.
