Shumate-Bankson
Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Alexander Shumate of Frisco, Texas are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Abby Grace Shumate, to John Denton Bankson, III, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Denton Bankson, Jr. of Florence, South Carolina.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Alexander Shumate, Sr. of Jackson, Mississippi and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Esco Williams of Clinton, Mississippi. The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Denton Bankson of Summerville, Georgia and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Preston Bruce of Kingsport, Tennessee.
The bride-elect graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is employed as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. The groom-elect graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering. He is employed as an Assistant Vice President at C-III Asset Management, LLC in Dallas.
The wedding will take place in May in Dallas, Texas.
