The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Nelle Brown and the late Mr. Howard Brown of Bishopville and Mrs. Louise Purpura and the late Mr. Samuel Purpura of Massapequa, NY.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hayward McAteer of Great Falls and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Harmon and the late Mr. Carson Steen of Lancaster.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Winthrop University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders. She is employed as an Applied Behavior Analyst in Charlotte, NC.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is currently completing his Master's degree in Business Administration at Winthrop University. He is employed by Horizon Lines in Charlotte, NC, as an accountant.
The wedding will be May 12, 2012, at Calvary Baptist Church in Florence.
