MYRTLE BEACH - Legends in Concert is set to open its 2011 season March 17. Crews have been working for months preparing for opening night. About 75 to 100 workers have been doing renovations each day and about 70 new employees have been hired this year.
After 15 years in Surfside Beach, Legends moved to its new location at Broadway at the Beach at the Club Kryptonite building. More than $2 million have been put into renovating the building.
The first set of tribute artist include Jay Leno, the Blues Brothers, Dolly Parton, Little Richard, Elvis and Michael Jackson.
The concert area can seat 600 people and no seat is more than 50 feet from the stage.
