Hormome replacement therapy could cause cancer if started at beginning of Menopause

Women who start hormone replacement therapy as soon as they begin menopause may be at higher risk for cancer.

A study of more than 1 million British women found those who started hormone replacement therapy as they entered menopause had a 43 percent higher chance of having breast cancer.

But those who waited five years to start it had little or no increased risk of developing the disease.
