Garris-Pittman
Julia Hope Garris and Robert Bryan Pittman are pleased to announce their engagement.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Virginia Garris of Nichols and the late Stan Garris. Her grandparents are the late Mr. & Mrs. Raymond Cook of Nichols, and Mr. & Mrs. Robert Garris of Lake View.
Julia received her Associate of Health Sciences degree in Nursing from Florence-Darlington TEC and a B.S. degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. She is employed by Dillon County School District in Lake View as an R.N.
Bryan is the son of Jean & Mike Griffie and Louie & Gloria Pittman of Marion. He is the grandson of the late Mr. & Mrs. Ralph Herring and the late Mr. & Mrs. Louis Pittman, Sr. of Marion.
He received a B.S. degree in Forest Resource Management from Clemson University and graduated from Horry-Georgetown TEC in the Land Surveying program. He is self-employed as a Registered Land Surveyor and is also associated with Bishop Brothers Forestry Consultants in Marion.
The wedding is planned for March 24, 2012.
