FLORENCE - May is Brain Tumor Awareness month.
Becky Simmons is the coordinator for the Florence Neurosurgery and Spine Brain Tumor Support Group. During this month specifically, she is reaching out to let those who have been diagnosed with a brain tumor to let them know about the support group.
The group's goal is to provide support and encouragement to those diagnosed with a brain tumor.
The next next meeting for the Florence Neurosurgery and Spine Brain Tumor Support Group is Thursday, May 27 from 6:00pm - 8:00pm at the office of Florence Neurosurgery and Spine at 1204 E Cheves St in Florence, across from the Hospice House.
Teresa Taylor will be sharing her personal brain tumor challenges and miracles and how she is beating the odds.
There will also be a time of sharing and fellowship.
