Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Robert Gedris of Hartsville announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Anne Gedris to Tex Allen Taylor II, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tex Allen Taylor of Bennettsville.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Azalee Gardner of Patrick, South Carolina, the late Mr. James L. Turnage, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph John Gedris. She is a graduate of Winthrop University and Francis Marion University. She is employed by Darlington County School District as a teacher at West Hartsville Elementary.
The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Melton Prentiss Pruitt, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Luther Allen Taylor. He is a graduate of Spartanburg Methodist College and is employed by the City of Bennettsville Fire Department as an Engineer and Taylor Termite and Pest Control.
The wedding will be held on June 5, 2010 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Hartsville.
