Hartsville Garden Clubs celebrate Christmas

The Pine and Lake Garden Club decorated the Billie Hardee Boys Home for Christmas on Dec. 1.

The Spring Beauty Garden Club held its December Meeting andChristmas Tea Party on Dec. 2 at the home of Jennifer Webb with Gladys Case as co-hostess. From left are Nancy Bell and Paula Bowen, president of the Spring Beauty Garden Club, with special guests Betsy Steele, president of the Garden Club of South Carolina, and Mildred Parker, state chaplain of the S.C. Garden Club. Each December, members of Spring Beauty participate in a community project donating fruit baskets and a garden-related Christmas gift to shut-ins in Darlington.
