Robert W. Degenhart and Constance M. Braceland were married on September 30, 1944, at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church at Loyola College in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. They are the parents of eight children, Paul V. Degenhart, Esq., Ann M. Vaiden, Mary E. Gallery, Vincent J. Degenhart, MD, and Janet M. Enoch, all of Columbia, SC; William J. Degenhart, MD, and Rita M. Wilhelm, of Savannah, GA; and Frances M. Robey of Florence, SC.
A Mass in celebration of their 65th Wedding Anniversary will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Sunday, September 27 at 10:30 am, with all of their children, their daughters-in-law and sons-in-law, their grandchildren, and great-grandchildren in attendance. A family gathering with brunch and various activities involving their extended family will follow the Mass.
All of the Degenhart family sends best wishes to this special couple in appreciation of the love and support that they have so generously and unselfishly given to each and every one of us.
