Mr. and Mrs. Charles Robert "Rod" Bennett of Turbeville, SC, announce the engage-ment of their daughter, Amber Colette Bennett, to John Clark Floyd, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Emory Floyd Jr. of Florence, SC.
The Bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Edward Neel of Olanta, SC and Mr. and Mrs. William Lavon Bennett of Turbeville, SC.
The Groom-elect is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edgar E. Clark of Quincy, Fla., and Mr. and Mrs. John Emory Floyd Sr. of Florence, SC.
The Bride-elect is a graduate of East Clarendon High School and Florence-Darlington Technical College with an Associates degree in business, and is employed by the Flor-ence County Sherriff’s Office.
The Groom-elect is a graduate of West Florence High School and is employed by Floyd Financial Services.
