Melissa Anne Dilloian and Justin Lerand Rivers were united in marriage Saturday, September 26, 2009, at Eastside Christian Church, with Pastor Chad C. Costello officiating.
The bride is the Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Dilloian of Florence, South Carolina and Ms. Barbara Bird of Columbia, South Carolina. She is the Granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Dilloian of Venice, Florida and Mrs. Audrey Bird of Jacksonville, Florida and the late Mr. Jessie Bird of Jacksonville, Florida.
The bridegroom is the Son of Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Rivers of Effingham, South Carolina. He is the Grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Perry Rivers of Effingham, South Carolina and Mrs. Anna Summerlin and Mr. Bernie Wollgast of Florence, South Carolina and the late Mr. Oliver Summerlin of Florence, South Carolina.
The Bride was given in marriage by Mr. Gregory Dilloian. Nuptial music was provided by pianist Mrs. Debra Farbot. The Maid of Honor was Alli Dilloian, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Miss Brandi Daniel, sister of the bride, Miss Jamie Rodgers, friend of the bride, Miss Danielle Fowler, friend of the bride, Miss Jennifer Marlowe, friend of the bride, and Miss Kristen Dilloian, cousin of the bride. Miss Lauren Dilloian, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.
The Best Man was Mr. Stephen Rivers, father of the groom. Groomsmen were Mr. Jonathan Rivers, brother of the groom, Mr. Kevin Rivers, cousin of the groom, Mr. Adam Hart, friend of the groom, Mr. Warren Stone, friend of the groom, and Mr. Ethan Rodgers, son of Jamie Rodgers. Mr. Maddox Taylor, son of Jamie Rodgers, was the ring bearer.
Reception was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Greg Dilloian, at the Florence County Club.
Assisting with the wedding and reception was Mrs. Wendy Turbeville and Mrs. Kristy Knotts.
The couple took a honeymoon to Ocho Rios, Jamaica.
