Fall Bazaar
Hebron United Methodist Church will have its Fall Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. Crafts and baked goods will be for sale, and dinner will be served at noon.

‘In the Depths of His Being’
Universal Deliverance Praise and Worship Center, at 900 S. Irby St. in Florence, will have a service titled “In the Depths of His Being” beginning at 5 a.m. Saturday with Morning Glory and Intercession Prayer, followed at 9 a.m. with breakfast and a meet-and-greet as well as a 10 a.m. Prophetic Word and Impartation. Youth Day
Mt. Clair Missionary Baptist Church will hold Youth Day at 10 a.m. on Sunday with special guest the Lake City Varsity/Junior Varsity Football Teams and Cheerleader Squads and Marching Band members. The church is located at 1009 E. Main Street in Lake City. For information call (803) 381-5666.

‘Trunk or Treat’


  • Effingham Presbyterian Church, at 526 E. Effingham Highway in Effingham (one mile from U.S. 52), will have a “Trunk or Treat” including a free chili supper, hay rides, inflatables, games, prizes and more from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday.   • Lake City Pentecostal Holiness Church is having a ‘Trunk or Treat’ starting at 6 p.m. Oct. 31. Costumes are encouraged, but nothing scary. The event will include face painting, hayrides, games and candy.

Worship service time changes
Mega/Omega Ministries has a new schedule for its services. Mega worship in Cades will take place at 8:20 a.m. on the first and third Sundays of the month; Ministry at Study will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays and at Omega worship in Florence at 8:20 a.m. on the second and fourth Sundays.

Carolina Opry trip
Lake City First Baptist Church is planning a trip to The Carolina Opry on Dec. 10. The bus will leave the church at 9:30 a.m. The cost is $50 for the bus and show. No meals are included. Showtime is 12:15 p.m. Seats are on rows 19, 20 and 21 in the center section F. For information, call James Guy at (843) 389-2838 or (843) 598-3344.

Narcotics Anonymous
Greater St. James AME Church, at 339 W. Moore St. in Lake City, holds weekly Narcotics Anonymous meetings at 7 p.m. each Monday and Thursday. Anyone who needs this service is invited to attend.
