Alexus Deanne Sebnick of Effingham and Benjamin Joseph Lee of Lake City were married at 5:00 p.m. October 10, 2009, at Lake City First Baptist Church. The Rev. David A. Welch performed the ceremony.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Mr. Thomas William Sebnick of Effingham and Ms. Adelia Miles Sebnick of Florence. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William John Sebnick of Lake City, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Milton Miles of Lake City and Ms. Gertrude H. Miles of Florence.
She is a graduate of Florence-Darlington Technical College and is employed by Eastern Carolina Family Medicine.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Derrick Jay "Nick" Lee of Lake City. He is the grandson of the late Mr. Theodore and Mrs. Christine Lee of Lake City and the late Mr. Camille and Mrs. Albina Morais of Lowell, Massachusetts.
He is a graduate of Florence-Darlington Technical College and is employed by Philips Healthcare.
Maid of Honor was Miss Tamra Rena Broach.
Matron of Honor was Mrs. Caroline Branch Britton.
Best men were Mr. Derrick Jay "Nick" Lee, father of the groom, and William Edward Floyd.
Bridesmaids were Miss Megan Elizabeth Daniels, Miss Danielle Therese Lee, sister of the groom, Miss Whitney Michelle McClam, Miss Amanda Memory Pridgen, and Mrs. Kristen Bennett Sebnick, sister-in-law of the bride.
Honorary bridesmaids were Miss Jessica McKenzie Grimsley and Miss Jennifer Renee McGee.
Groomsmen were Justin Miles Sebnick, brother of the bride, Trenton Hugh McDonald, John Richard Kirby, David Michael McGee and David Randel Scurry.
Ushers were Howard Finklea "Trey" Godwin III and Trevor Allen Floyd.
Flower girl was Erica Jordan Sebnick, cousin of the bride.
Ring bearer was William Edward Floyd Jr., god-son of the groom.
Greeters were Beatrice Victoria Carter and Elizabeth Angelica "ZZ" Carter, both cousins of the bride.
Pianist and organist was Mrs. Angel Yock
A reception followed at Private Acres Banquet Facility in Scranton.
After a wedding trip to Couples Negril in Jamaica, the couple will live in Lexington.
