Most employers don't question you when you call out sick

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Fewer workers in the U.S. are getting fired for calling out sick with a fake excuse.

According to a new survey, one-third of workers played hooky at least once a year in the past three years.

Most employers typically don't question the absences, but 15 percent said they fired an employee for missing work without a legitimate excuse this year.

That's down from 18 percent the previous year.
