People who follow a Mediterranean diet, rich in fish, whole grains, fruits and vegetables, may be less likely to become depressed.
A study of 11,000 people found those who followed a Mediterranean diet closely cut their risk by 30 percent.
Researchers believe the diet may improve blood vessel function and flight inflammation, all of which can reduce the chances of developing depression.
