The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. George Covington Smith of Florence and the late Dr. Smith, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leo Giles Elvington Sr. of Dillon, SC.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Edward Shurburtt of Spartanburg, SC and Dr. and Mrs. Alastair Cameron Walker of Landrum, SC.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Clemson University. She is employed by Capitol in Charlotte, NC.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Anderson University and he is employed by Insource Software Solutions of Cornelius, NC.
The wedding will be January 16, 2010 at Central United Methodist Church in Florence, SC.
