Hartsville’s downtown initiated the Christmas season with its Open House on Thursday night. Businesses opened their doors afterhours for a festive night of shopping, give-aways, entertainment and refreshments. Shoppers took advantage of the night as a chance to get a head start on their Christmas shopping. Santa and Mrs. Claus also made an appearance.
