ANGEL TREE PROGRAM

Media are invited to cover the kick off event:
• Performance by Two of Dublin’s ”Twelve Irish Tenors” – Direct from their sold out world tour, the Palace’s Irish Tenors will fill you with the true spirit of Christmas!
• The Long Bay Symphony Youth Orchestra’s Quartet – the Youth Orchestra comprised of students, ages 9 through 22 representing schools in Horry and Georgetown Counties will perform Seasonal Music.
• Local Cloggers will perform.
• Welcome Ceremony - Carolyn Webb from the Salvation Army will briefly introduce the Angel Tree Program. O’Neil McCoy of Leadership Grand Strand, Class 30, tells us how to get involved with the Salvation Army, and 2008 Angel Tree Recipients will share their success story of receiving from the Angel Tree and now Giving Back to the Angel Tree Program.
• Lighting of the Angel Tree 7:00 pm – the Tree will be filled with Angel Ornaments that will each have Christmas wishes from a child who is in need.
