New study released on smoking and bipolar disease

Smoking may lead to a higher risk of suicidal behavior in people with bipolar disorder.

Researchers say the reason could be because those with the condition are generally prone to impulsive acts.

Bipolar disorder - also known as manic depression - is often marked by dramatic mood swings.
