The American Cancer Society will be hosting their 2010 Relay For Life kick off at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10 at Freestyle Music Park at the Ice Cold Country Theater.
Join “Relayers” from all over the Grand Strand and “TURN UP THE VOLUME” in the fight against cancer! The evening will include 2009 awards and 2010 inspiration!
Every year the Relay For Life teams from all over the Grand Strand get together to kick off the Relay season.
This year, all the Relay teams from Georgetown to Conway to North Myrtle Beach will be joining together to kick off for an incredible season.

The American Cancer Society Relay For Life is a life-changing event that gives everyone in communities across the globe a chance to celebrate the lives of people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and fight back against the disease.
At Relay, teams of people camp out at a local high school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Each team is asked to have a representative on the track at all times during the event. Because cancer never sleeps, Relays are overnight events up to 24 hours in length.
Location, food and logistics are being donated by Freestyle Music Park. The Park is presently closed for the season, so no rides will be in operation.
