Diane Wallis Gandy and John Nicholas LeMasurier were united in marriage on October 24, 2009 at Magnolia Plantation in Charleston, South Carolina. The Rev. Mitchell Houston performed the ceremony.

Diane Wallis Gandy and John Nicholas LeMasurier were united in marriage on October 24, 2009 at Magnolia Plantation in Charleston, South Carolina. The Rev. Mitchell Houston performed the ceremony at half past Five O’clock. The marriage is announced by the bride’s parents, Mrs. Diane Bagnal-Moody and Mr. Marion Moore Gandy, Junior.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tho-mas Nettles Bagnal of Columbia and the late Mr. and Mrs. Marion Moore Gandy of Hartsville. She earned a BA degree in Psychology from The University of South Carolina and a M.Ed. in School Counseling from The Citadel. She is currently employed with Communities In Schools of Charleston.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Terence Michael LeMasurier of Staunton, Virginia. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Leslie LeMasurier of Leigh-on -Sea, Essex, England and the late Mr. and Mrs. Willard Henry Rowe of Staunton, Virginia. He earned a BS in Business Administration from The College of Charleston and a MBA from The Citadel. He is currently employed as a Financial Analyst for On-Demand Publishing.
Music for the ceremony was provided by The Plantation Singers and harpist, Callee Kaiser Boulware. The bride wore a trumpet gown made of ivory silk swiss dot organza with lace appliqués, scalloped neckline, and a sweep train. To compliment the gown she wore a double layer veil edged in a sheer silk ribbon.
Mrs. Mary Catherine Hill Flowers was the matron of honor and Miss Kathryn Harley Kemp was the maid of honor. Bride’s attendants were Mrs. Garland Pearson Ames, Miss Caroline Pane Baroody, Miss Heather Christine Brown, Miss Alison Brooke Flynn, Miss Doris Leigh Griggs, Mrs. Lawton Grantham Hirsch, Miss Aimee Helene Lassor, Miss Shelly Marie Lynch, Miss Ginger Anne Moore, Mrs. Lisabeth Kemp Myers, Miss Kathleen Gately Ryan and Miss Jennifer Elizabeth Snowden.
Mr. Terence Michael LeMasurier served as his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Marion Moore Gandy, III, brother of the bride, Mr. William Sherman Gordon, Mr. Pat-rick Desmond King, Mr. John Wilson McNeely, Mr. Timothy Davis Piercy, and Mr. Troy Jamison Wade.
Honorary attendants were Miss Katherine Wilson LeMasurier, Miss Jane Stewart Le-Masurier, Miss Lesley Alexander LeMasurier, all sisters of the groom. Also, Miss Lauren Elizabeth Bagnal, Miss Lauren Meredith Busby, Miss McKenna Marie Delaney, Mrs. Erin O’Leary King, Mrs. Emily Pruden McNeely, Mrs. Cyndi Hill Scottow and Mrs. Carson Flowers Tate. Guests were greeted by Mrs. Erin Jeffords Bonsall and Miss Lauren Celeste Mikell. Master Finley Hathaway Harrison was the ring bearer.
The groom and his parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Creek Club at I’On in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. The couple will reside in Charleston.
