Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Harold Huggins of Nichols, would like to announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Lane Huggins of Greenwood, to William Nicholas Harris of Greenwood, the son of Mr. Mark Ashley Harris of Loris and Mrs. Naomi Crean of North Myrtle Beach.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mary Alice Elliott of Mullins, the late Billy Elliott, Shirley Huggins Ebner of Blountville, Tenn., and the late Maxcy Huggins. She is a graduate of Green Sea Floyds High School, earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the College of Charleston in 2005, earned a Master’s of Education in Educational Technology from the University of South Carolina in 2007 and she is employed by Greenwood 50 School District.
The bridegroom-elect is the grandson of the Rev. and Mrs. Carl Harris and Mr. and Mrs. Henyard Caines all of Loris. He is a graduate of Loris High School and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Presbyterian College in 2002. He is employed by Greenwood 52 School District.
The wedding is planned for June 13, 2009 at 6 p.m. at Loris Baptist Church, in Loris.
