While progress has been made in reducing rates of teen pregnancy in South Carolina, members of the South Carolina Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy there is still work to be done.
The group completed its "Road Show 2009: 15 Days for 15 Years" tour on Thursday.
The tour served to raise awareness of teen pregnancy and successful teen pregnancy prevention efforts as Campaign staff meet with press outlets and key leaders to inform them of the issue and the consequences teen pregnancy has on South Carolina.
Members also met with local teen pregnancy prevention providers to discuss solutions; and hold awareness events to inform community leaders and stakeholders about the impact of teen pregnancy on our state and individual communities.
