Bobby Jackson of Mullins and Vickie Brumfield of Florence proudly announce the engagement of their daughter, Lisa Renee Jackson, to Joshua Zane Strickland, son of Jerry and Marsha Strickland of Nichols.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Jack and Corine Jackson, formerly of Mullins, and Geneva and the late James Beaty of Mullins. Lisa is a 2000 graduate of Mullins High School and is employed with Mullins Discount Drug.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Brice and Velma Strickland, formerly of Loris, and Dorothy and the late William Bellamy of North Myrtle Beach. Zane is a 2000 graduate of Loris High School and is employed with Strickland Farms.

The wedding is planned for May 23, 2009 at 3 p.m. at the Grace Baptist Church of Loris with a reception to follow at Garden Alley in Mullins.
