Jennifer Thomas Haselden and Lionel Ysasi, both of Scranton, were married at 5 p.m. March 14, 2009, at the Ysasi home.
Pastor Bryan Chapman performed the ceremony. The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. CJ Haselden Jr. of Scranton. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bedelo Whitlock of Lake City and the late Mr. and Mrs. Carol J. Haselden Sr. of Scranton.
She is a graduate of Lake City High School, attended Coker College and is employed by South Carolina Bank and Trust.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ysasi of Scranton. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Nieves Rodriguez of Weslaco, Texas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Rafael Ysasi of San Bentio, Texas.
He is a graduate of East Clarendon High School and is employed by Coca-Cola Bottling Plant.
Maid of honor was Brooke Hanna, cousin of the bride.
Best man was Wes Coker.
Bridesmaids were Michelle Ysasi, sister of the groom, and Mary T. Ruthven, Laura Ruthven and Ashley Whitlock, cousins of the bride.
Groomsmen were Trey Haselden, brother of the bride; Clay Lee, brother-in-law of the groom; Craig Brown; Kent Gamble; and Hank Floyd.
A reception followed at the Ysasi home in Scranton.
After a wedding trip to Cozumel, Mexico, the couple will live in Scranton.
