Jessica Marie Salas Anderson of Florence and James Carlie Morris of Florence were married on May 16, 2009, at 5 p.m. at Summerhill Farms in Effingham, SC.
The Rev. Jim Crooks performed the ceremony. The bride, who was escorted by her son, Grant Owen Anderson, is the daughter of Dan Salas Jr. of Rockford, IL, and Patricia Dale of Florence and the late Gary W. Dale. She is the granddaughter of Kathleen McClure Doherty and the late Owen Doherty of Rockford, IL and Dan and Ofilia Salas of Rockford, IL.
The bride graduated from Auburn High School in Rockford, IL and is employed by Trinity Healthcare Staffing Group.
The groom is the son of William Carlie and Roberta Chandler Morris of Florence. He is the grandson of the late James Gleaton and Minerva B. Chandler of Olanta, SC and the late Jesse W. Morris and the late Helen M. Morris of
Florence, SC.
The groom is a graduate of South Florence High School and Francis Marion University. He is employed by the United States Postal Service.
Maid of Honor was Kathleen Lynn Harriott, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaid was Sydney Marie Anderson, daughter of the bride.
Best Man was William Carlie Morris, father of the groom.
Groomsmen were Christopher Allen Kegle and Brandon Carlisle Morris, sons of the groom.
Wedding Coordinator was Amanda L. Henderson, friend of the couple.
Guest Book Attendant/Greeter was Dominique Marie Harriott, niece of the bride.
A reception followed at Summerhill Farms.
After a wedding trip to the beach the couple will live in Florence, SC.
