Kristin Danielle Zarandi of Columbia and William Allen Revell of Florence were married at 6 p.m. Friday, June 12, 2009, at Ashland United Methodist Church in Columbia. The Rev. Joel Jones performed the ceremony.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Shaun Zarandi of Columbia. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Robert Wayne Howard of Charleston and Mrs. Marlene Howard Ford of Columbia, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bagher Zarandi. She is a 2007 graduate of Clemson University and will attend Brenau University in the fall.
The groom is the son of the late Mr. Allen Frank Revell of Florence and Mr. and Mrs. James Paul Barnes Jr. of Florence. He is the grandson of Mrs. Muriel Hook Revell and the late Mr. William James Revell Jr. of Florence and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Francis Shinta Jr. of Spartanburg. He is a 2009 graduate of the United States Naval Academy and will attend Georgia Institute of Technology in the fall. He is an Ensign in the United States Navy and will pursue a career in Naval aviation.
Maid of honor was Caroline Redmond, friend of the bride.
Best Man was Brent Quimby, friend of the groom.
Bridesmaids were Natalie Revell and Ashley Snowden, sisters of the groom; Kristy Aragon, Nan Crim, Megan Phillips, Elizabeth Ridgeway, and Jessie Watkins.
Groomsmen were Mark Zarandi, brother of the bride; Douglas Snowden, brother-in-law of the groom; Michael Aragon, James Krueger, Charles McCarthy, Douglas Stahl, and Neil Wilson.
Swords bearers were Raymond Allen, John Chatfield, Kevin McAdams and Matthew Rusinak.
Flowers girls were Marley Staats and Madison Kielar, cousins of the bride.
Ring Bearer was Harrison Kielar, cousin of the bride.
Program attendants were Jane Elizabeth Barnes, Katharine Joseph, Allison Whittles and Allison Zastrow.
Guest Book attendant was Emily Boatright.
A reception followed at the Clubhouse at Pine Island. The couple left for a honeymoon trip to Saint Lucia and will live in Atlanta, Georgia, while the couple attends graduate school.
