Cacey Michelle Ragan and Jonathan Derrek Miles of Columbia were married at 2 p.m. March 7, 2009, at The Rutledge Chapel at the University of South Carolina.
The Rev. Dr. Douglas Ferguson performed the ceremony.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Mr. Thomas Michael Ragan and Ms. Linda S. Ragan of Easley. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Maria Sellers of Greenville and the late Mr. Rothell Sellers, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas L. Ragan of Easley.
She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in early childhood education and is employed by Lexington County School District.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Mitchell Miles of Florence. He is the grandson of Mrs. Addie Crawford of Coward and the late Mr. Samuel J. Crawford, and Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Miles of Scranton. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and will graduate May 2009 from the University of South Carolina School of Law. He is employed with the McKay Firm in Columbia.
Maid of honor was Miss Caitlin Ragan, sister of the bride.
Best man was Mr. Charles Mitchell Miles, father of the groom.
Bridesmaids were Miss Tracy Callahan, Miss Ashleigh Hayes, Miss Laura Young, Mrs. Emily Seaborn and Mrs. Kelli Petit.
Flower girl was Miss Elizabeth Lee.
Ring bearer was Mr. Lucas Jeffords.
Groomsmen were Mr. Chris Sawyer, Mr. Brandon Stepp, Mr. Andrew Joyner, Mr. Marc Buxton and Mr. Jeremy Bohler.
Ushers were Mr. Bob Knudson and Mr. Rhyne Stowe.
Musicians were Mrs. Julie Russell, violinist, and Mr. Nic Callahan, guitarist.
A reception followed at 300 Senate in Columbia. Reception greeters were Mr. and Mrs. Steve Miles of Florence.
After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple will reside in West Columbia.
