Mickey and Susan White Hegler, of McCormick, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Sara Melissa Hegler, of McCormick, to Johnathan Lance McAllister, of Gresham.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late R.T. and Sara Seigler White of McCormick and the late Floyd and Sue Hegler of Plum Branch.
She is a graduate of Long Cane Academy and Lander University, with a major in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminal Justice and a minor in Spanish. She is employed by McCormick County Sheriff’s Office as a Sheriff’s Deputy.
The bridegroom is the son of Timothy McAllister, of Pamplico and Laura McAllister, of Gresham. He is the grandson of Ansel and Beth Edwards, of Gresham; Bobby Treadway, of Gresham; Willa Mae McAllister, of Pamplico and the late Johnny McAllister.
He is a graduate of Marion High School and Lander University, with a major in Sociology with an emphasis in Criminal Justice. He is employed by Abbeville Police Department as a Police Officer.
The wedding is planned for 5 p.m., May 13, 2009 in the Aventuras Spa Palace Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
