Baby boomers should build some muscle before it's too late.

A new study's found that once people hit age 80, weight training doesn't do much to increase strength or improve balance and balance.

Experts advise everyone to get involved with some kind of training program once they hit their 60s, so they can maintain an independent life as long as possible.
