New research show preemies face more challenges

»  Comments | Post a Comment

Children who are born extremely premature, after only 25 weeks of pregnancy, appear far more likely than others to develop emotional and behavior
problems.

New research shows nearly 20-percent of these children showed signs of attention deficit and hyper-activity by age 6, compared to just over 3-percent of their peers.

The results got better with each additional week of development in the womb.
