Jacqueline Victoria Lynch and David Joseph Volz, both of Mount Pleasant, were married at 6 p.m. Sept. 6, 2008, at Central United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Thomas C. Pietila performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Howard Starks of Florence and Mr. William Michael Lynch of Wake Forest, N.C. She is the granddaughter of Ms. Victoria H. Stokes of Florence, Mr. and Mrs. G.B. “Bo” Stokes of Georgetown, Mr. and Mrs. Howard F. Starks of Florence, and Mrs. Mary Ann Lynch of Coward. She is the great-granddaughter of Mrs. Mertice R. Harrelson of Loris.
She is a graduate of Anderson University with a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and public relations. She is an account manager at Book Surge Publishing of Amazon.Com.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas John Volz of Greenville. He is a graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in psychology and is pursuing a master’s degree in clinical psychology at The Citadel, where he is employed as a graduate assistant.
Maid of honor was Lauren Kendall Starks, sister of the bride.
Matron of honor was Meredith Roe Driver.
Best man was Mr. James Matthew Volz, brother of the groom.
Bridesmaids were Kristin Kelly Bland, Julia Bird Boatwright, Jessica Lauren Cassidy, Rebecca Britton Finklea, Heather Elizabeth Gillam, Jessica Blaire Grant, Kathryn Justine McLeod and Jessica Ann McNally.
Honorary attendants were Emily Ora Fussell, Katherine Elizabeth Lynch, Brittany Nell Watts and Mary Ashley Watts, cousins of the bride, and Karen Volz Smith, sister of the groom.
Groomsmen were Daniel Christopher Volz, Michael David Volz and Steven Jeffery Volz, brothers of the groom; Michael Scott Smith, brother-in-law of the groom; Marshall Camden Civils; James Ryan Thackston; Michael Ward Durham; and Stephan Tramell Sudduth.
Flower girl was Crawford Ann Knobel.
Ring bearer was Tanner Boardman Stokes, cousin of the bride.
Program attendants were Briley Logan Stokes, cousin of the bride, and Kaitlin Marie Smith, niece of the groom.
A reception followed at the Florence Country Club.
After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple will live in Mount Pleasant.
