Cotton Harvest Bluegrass Festival strikes a chord with fans

The Cotton Harvest Bluegrass Festival took place at the Center Theater and Wesley United Methodist Church over the weekend. Outdoor activities on Friday night were moved inside due to the inclement weather. Church Street Blues performs and Wesley.

The second annual fall bluegrass festival was held in Hartsville Oct. 24, 25 and 26. Pouring rain on Friday night moved the outdoor concert indoors but didn't damper the enthusiasm of the performers or those attending. Saturday afternoon music fans were entertained by Church Street Blues, Deeper Shade of Blue, Sounds of Grass and Slope Valley bluegrass bands. On Sunday Church Street Blues performed bluegrass and gospel tunes for the congregation and guests at Wesley United Methodist Church.
