A choice of bread is offered to accompany your Thanksgiving feast
Here we are in the third week of November already. This week I’m printing two more recipes to help round out your Thanksgiving dinner. This week it’s bread I’m concerned with. I’ve chosen Golden Honey Pan Rolls and Apple Cider Cinnamon Bread. Both are mixed in a bread machine but the rolls are baked in a regular oven. The bread is baked in the bread machine.
Next week I’ll cover desserts and that will wind-up the month and covers everything for your dinner except the meat.
Golden Honey Pan Rolls
(mix in a bread machine)
1 cup milk
1 egg
1 egg yolk
2 tablespoons honey
1 1/2 teaspoon salt
3 1/2 cups bread flour
2 1/4 teaspoons yeast
Glaze
1/3 cup sugar
2 tablespoons melted butter
1 tablespoon honey
1 egg white
Place first 7 ingredients in bread machine in order called for by the manufacturer. Select dough setting. When cycle is done, turn dough out on lightly floured cookie sheet. Punch down. Cover and let rest for 10 minutes. Divide into 12 portions and shape into balls. Place on greased baking pan. Cover and let rise about 30 minutes. For glaze, mix ingredients. Drizzle over dough. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden grown. Brush with more honey.
