To have your baby’s birth announced in the Morning News free of charge, please submit announcements 10 full business days in advance. The birth announcement should include: the name of the parent or parents, hometown, name and sex of the child, date and place of birth, mother’s maiden name and former hometown. Leighton Myers
Doug and Donna Myers of Florence announce the birth of a daughter, Leighton Brooke, born Oct. 14, 2008, at Carolinas Women’s Center.
Leighton has an older brother, Hunter Drake, 9.
Mrs. Myers is the former Miss Donna Smith of Florence.
Maternal grandparents are Jane Nesbitt of Florence and Al Smith of Effingham.
Paternal grandparents are Sonny and Pat Myers of Pensacola, Fla.
Sina Moosmann
Daniel and Nancy Moosmann of Florence announce the birth of their daughter, Sina Eliana Moosmann, who was born on Sept. 24, 2008, at McLeod Women’s Pavilion in Florence.
Mrs. Moosmann is the former Nancy M. Blackmon of Darlington.
