Sixty or so guests attended The Greater Lake City Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours hosted by Marilyn’s Manor on June 17.

Marilyn’s Manor at 111 South Second Avenue hosted The Greater Lake City Chamber of Commerce’s Business After Hours on June 17. Marilyn’s Manor is a Bed and Breakfast Inn located in a historic house in Lake City. Chamber president Matt Marsh welcomed the 60 or so guests who attended the event. Lake City Mayor Lovith Anderson Jr said Marilyn’s Manor is a lovely establishment and said Lake City continues to move forward with businesses. Kingstree Mayor Ricky Burrows said he has been working with Anderson since he has been elected and the cities work well together. Members of Williamsburg County Chamber of Commerce President Mona Dukes provided greetings becuase Marilyn’s Manor is a a member of their organization as well. Door prizes were given and refreshments were served. Some of the others in attendance included Florence County Council Chairman K.G. “Rusty” Smith and Lake City Council members Gloria Tisdale and Jason Springs.
