Eduardo Donato Jr., MD, has joined Marion Medical Group, a division of Marion Regional Healthcare System.
Most recently associated with Carolinas Hospital System in Florence, Donato has served hospitals and clinics throughout rural South Carolina for nearly ten years. At Marlboro Park Hospital in Bennettsville, he had the distinction of being named Physician Advisor of the Year for two consecutive years, and was an area representative at the National Convention of Community Health Systems.
Donato earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology as well as his Doctor of Medicine, (MD), from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Jersey City Medical Center in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Donato has completed research in areas that include Acute Sickle Cell Crisis and maintains professional memberships in the American College of Physicians, the South Carolina Medical Association, and the Florence Medical Society.
