Shannon Smith Quick of Hartsville and Dennis “Ricky” Flowers, also of Hartsville, announce their engagement.
Shannon is the daughter of the late Mrs. Nancy Poolaw of McColl.She is a graduate of Northeastern Technical College and Coker College. The bride-elect is employed with Coker College as the Evening and Extended Studies financial aid counselor.
The groom-elect is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Flowers of Hartsville. He is a graduate of the South Carolina Fire Academy and employed with the Hartsville Fire Depart-ment, as well as the family owned business Flowers Drywall.
Their wedding will be Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, at Prestwood Country Club.
