Hanna Thayer of Hannah and Steven Ryan Jordan of Camden were married at sunset at 7 p.m. Aug. 4, 2007, at Crown Reef Resort in Myrtle Beach.
Lanney Ard performed the ceremony.
The bride, who was escorted by her father, is the daughter of Bert and Fran Thayer of Hannah. She is the granddaughter of the late Marion and Miriam Foxworth of Pamplico, and June and Bill Thayer of Hannah.
She is a senior at Columbia College, where she is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in religion.
The groom is the son of Bill and Toni Jordan of Camden. He is the grandson of Robert and Frances Ryan of Lugoff and the late Clinnie and Grace Jordan of Hopkins.
He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and is employed by Best Buy in Columbia.
The bride wore an ivory strapless gown with beading. Her bouquet consisted of roses, daisies and seashells.
Maid of honor was Jessica Thayer, sister of the bride.
Best man was Patrick Jordan, brother of the groom.
Bridesmaid was Cecelia Lucas.
Groomsman was Robert Pettis.
A reception followed at The Treasure Chest at the Crown Reef Resort in Myrtle Beach.
After a honeymoon at the Crown Reef Resort, the couple will live in Camden.
